Another year, another Yokoso Dutch Open.
I was asked once more to provide the poster and as I was expecting the call I had already laid some groundwork for it.
Out of all the posters I’ve made for the YDO (and I’m saying this as 2019-me, not 2015-me) this is the one I like the best by far.
I started out with just the black tear-out and focused heavily on the text. I drew some inspiration later on and added the skyline at the top, suggesting it was Amsterdam. Unless you knew where it came from there was no way to tell it was Amsterdam, however. Despite that, I do think it adds something nice to it, and overall I still really, really like this poster.
