Due to a disagreement in counting the years (don’t ask), I forget which year this actually was.
This was a big one. The Yokoso Dutch Open was closing in on us again. Having proven my worth I was told “You get to make this year’s poster again. There are going to be a lot of people, and we’ll be flyering this at other tournaments as well, so make it a cool one. Also, we’ll need some designs for T-shirts as well, as we’re going to have a stand where you can get a T-shirt printed.“
No pressure.
I felt I could do this. I wanted to do this. The main problem was the lack of photo material to look with, so I had to make do with what imagery I did have access to and sure enough, I managed to make something pretty cool, to critical acclaim.
The fire effect on the text was hell to do…
