Lianna is one of the six main characters from my novel, as such I wanted to try and visualize her in order to help me whilst writing the story.
A new and improved Lianna. Where Krysta’s original version and her improved version still had a lot of similarities, I rebuilt Lianna from the ground up. I had a clearer idea of who and what she was in my head and it helped me redefine her.
Lianna is the loose canon of the group. While she’s an unparallelled beauty (I purposely hid her face behind her hair, to let the viewer decide for themselves what she looks like), her vulgar language and act-before-you-think attitude leave a lot to be desired. This is the girl that speaks her mind and doesn’t care what anyone thinks about it. And if anyone has a problem with it, her two pistols will take it from there.
I found myself thinking for quite a while to figure out what kind of attire a girl like lianna would wear. I had to be something that said ‘Yeah. And. So. What?” I ended up choosing less of an attire, if you will. Skimpy clothing has always had a bit of a stigma attached to them, and in this case it was the perfect fit for Lianna.
A simple, thin fabric top (no bra) paired with a pair of tattered, cut-off jeans (hotpants, I believe is the correct term) with her underwear showing at the top. I wanted to give her design a little bit of substance, however, as I felt it was otherwise very…barebones. I decided adding legwarmers and a scarf. These are items not typically associated with ‘an outfit’ and as such gave me an excuse to add something extra, without it ruining Lianna’s bad girl/naughty girl aura.

‘Til next time.
