Timestamp: 2010-2011
I’ve always been fascinated by animation. Japanese anime in particular. As such it’s no surprise that my road to progress took a sidestep from design to digital (cell-shaded) art.
I had no graphics tablet yet, so I went about it the old-fashioned way: I got pencil and paper, made what I wanted and then I scanned it in.
The gallery below shows my very first attempts at making something worthwhile. At the time I considered it to be wonderful. Looking back now I realize: yeah, it’s not the greatest, but without this I’d never have gotten to where I am now (see newer entries).
